Welcome to my 2-part series on how to achieve more in less time and create major success in your business.

I get it… You have a tonne of ideas and a tonne of goals & dreams you want to achieve. But sometimes, it can feel like there isn’t enough time in the day to get it all done or you may feel like you want to get it all done yesterday so you can hit those major goals.

Be honest…. Your to do list is as long as a never-ending piece of string… all those ideas just waiting for the day you have more time!

Often, I speak to business owners and they assume they cannot handle much but it’s because they don’t have solid foundations in place to learn how to MANAGE multiple major projects at once.

While you may be able to handle your list, for now… But the more you add, the more we forget things, or just feel overwhelm creeping in.

OR maybe you’re currently juggling some epic projects but it feels like chaos, like everything being thrown at you at once.

I wanted to share with you how I prioritise and manage MULTIPLE projects at once. And it feels like the calmest most grounded place for me to be.

Only because I have mastered these 2 things that I’m going to share with you (this is a 2-part series).

First, let me share with you my current projects:

  • Running my business as usual
  • Coaching my clients
  • Launching and running my Masterminds and other courses
  • Running more nation-wide in person connection events for you so we can hang IRL
  • Creating new programs to serve you
  • Going into a major shakeup and growth phase with the podcast (More value coming your way)
  • Writing my book & working on getting it published –I wrote a whole damn book!!
  • Top secret video projects – these are massive
  • Launching some major travel experiences where we can travel together and have some major business & personal growth
  • Getting back into speaking at events too

ALL of which are major projects that I am so damn excited about.

If that list overwhelmed you, I don’t blame you!!

There was a time where just 1 of those things would have sent me into a major burnout spiral! But now it honestly feels like the most grounded work I am doing.

Does it feel like a lot? Yes.

But at the same time I still have my weekends and most Fridays completely to myself, I have had time to go to yoga, sound healing and spend time with family & loved ones more than ever.

But how?!

I have mastered these 2 things that I’m going to share with you:

1. Expand your energetic capacity

We only have a certain amount of brain capacity or energy to spend each day.

Often people think its about TIME.

But time is fixed – so how do some people achieve a tonne, and others struggle to achieve 1% in the same time?

It’s ENERGETIC CAPACITY.

Think about it like a balloon – the more your balloon fills up with things you have to remember, other people’s needs, projects, emotions, overthinking, overwhelm, the closer it gets to popping. The fuller your balloon – the less space it has to hold major projects.

Back in 2019, I was running 5 businesses at once but I would wake up and just work – I thought if I put more TIME into my work I would achieve more. So I sacrificed my health, didn’t exercise and didn’t balance my nervous system. The longer I did that, the less energy I had to achieve things, the easier it was for me to have an emotional breakdown because my balloon was FULL it would burst at any moment.

The best way to improve this is to come back to basics:

  • Are you eating and nurturing your body with foods that give you energy?
  • Are you exercising, getting vitamin D?
  • Sleep – not the anxious sleep where you wake up at 3am stressed
  • Regulating your nervous system
  • Doing proper relaxation not just watching TV (although I do love some reality tv)

When we take care of ourselves first, we have so much more capacity to hold major projects – and for our subconscious to feel like its safe for us to hold MORE.

Make decisions fast, stop overthinking, and take bold action toward your goals!

Making slow decisions is the fastest route to overwhelm and burnout. Every decision we hold onto takes up energetic space in your mind. Make decisions from a place of empowerment - not from scarcity or fear.

You already know what the right next move is for you, but you get in our own head.

2. Plan and Prioritise Business Projects

We can achieve a tonne, and as I mentioned I’m doing a tonne right now but first I had to prioritise. I do not have time every single day to dedicate the exact amount of energy to each project.

So the art of juggling multiple major projects at once is actually to prioritise and decide where to spend your energy first or the most!

The first thing I did was brain-dump EVERYTHING!

When I got back from my recent European adventure – my mind was full of new ideas and projects I wanted to work on. It felt like a massive tornado in my head and there was no clear starting point.

When we don’t have priorities or a plan it leads to major overwhelm and then often analysis paralysis and we end up achieving nothing or looking at our computer screen blank.

The key is to shift out of this FAST

Brainstorm and List Tasks:

It may sound obvious but don’t tell me you haven’t tried to just juggle things in your mind before!

It’s those moments at 3am when you have all the damn ideas. Our brain holds onto them and reminds you of them in fear that you may forget. That takes a tonne of energetic capacity to hold!!

Start with a list of the main core projects or ideas you have that you want to work on.

The more you can get these things out of your head and onto paper the better! This frees up energetic capacity.

Once you have your brain dump - this will help you see the bigger picture.

Now, break down your larger projects into smaller action tasks:

This becomes your detailed action list that you can either delegate or take bold action on yourself. Once you have it broken down you no longer have to think about all the things you need to do, you can just DO them.

An example for my video project:

  • Find videographer
  • Compile a shot list
  • Write scripts
  • Create a mood board
  • Find venue

Assess Urgency and Importance:

Order your list based on urgency and importance. I look first at WHEN these things need to be done by. Some of my tasks such as my book launch event won’t happen until I have a set launch date for the book so while I can start getting ideas, I can’t really plan that until we have a date set so its not that urgent but it IS important.

If you come to anything that is NOT important or urgent – ask yourself if you really need it on your list? If not, remove it! Even though something is on your list, doesn’t mean you have to do it if its truly not moving the needle forward.

While we can do it ALL – we don’t need to do it all at once

Having focused projects at a time or tasks to focus on, we can achieve more and actually see the needle moving forward on all projects.

In the past if I didn’t do this – I would have some inspiration or just get excited about one of the projects, I would stop whatever I was working on and work on the thing I was excited about. I would jump between tasks a million times a day and never get anything done.

This helps to keep focused – and getting way more done!

But I also do like to follow my inspiration, when it hits I get more done too so it’s a balance.
