5 ways to save Time & reduce end of year BURNOUT

Throughout the year as entrepreneurs, sometimes things just get damn busy and it can be pretty overwhelming so today, you will simply learn how to create a business that works for you and allows you to have more time back to do the things you love outside of business as well.

Whether you’re coming up towards the end of the year, or trying to tick off all those big dreamy goals, this is for you!

1. Challenge the Scarcity Mindset

A lot of the time when we find ourselves in burnout hustle mode – its driven by a scarcity mindset. We believe that doing more equates to more success. But the constant need for more money or quick results can lead to overwhelming to-do lists and misguided actions. Challenge yourself by asking where you might be busier than necessary due to scarcity. Recognising and shifting this mindset can bring clarity to your goals and help you focus on actions that truly drive success.

2. Set Boundaries Amidst Chaos

Establishing boundaries is crucial to prevent burnout. Try to implement "Feel Good Fridays," where you block out an entire day or even a few hours for self-care and personal enjoyment. By scheduling time reserved for yourself, you remove guilt associated with not working during those periods.

3. Embrace the 80/20 Rule

Evaluate your to-do list and assess if every task is genuinely necessary. The 80/20 rule suggests that 80% of your output comes from 20% of your efforts. Reassess your goals and prioritise tasks that contribute most significantly to your success. If your aim is more sales, focus on selling more.

 4. Learn to Say No

To prevent burnout, be willing to cancel or postpone commitments when necessary. As business owners, we strive not to be flaky, but prioritising your well-being is essential. Postponing tasks may provide the energy needed to show up fully for your clients. Remember, honouring your needs often becomes a permission slip for others to do the same. Letting go of the fear of upsetting others can lead to better outcomes for everyone involved.

 5. Manage Your Energetic Capacity

Recognise that activities outside your comfort zone demand more energy. When pursuing new goals or challenging yourself, be mindful of the additional energy required. Going through significant changes or leveling up may temporarily consume more of your resources. Allow yourself the grace to acknowledge this and make adjustments to maintain a healthy balance.
