At every new level in business, evolution is essential. Right now I am going through some major growth and uplevelling and that means I am pivoting my business model again and re-strategising to hit that next level.

No matter where you are in business, if you want to hit your next level, I’m breaking down exactly what I did that’s going to take me beyond 7 figures but also give me a tonne more freedom.

I’m not sharing these strategies so you can make an exact replica of my business, but I’m going to unpack the WHY behind it so you can apply the insights to building your dream business because doing business your way is the key here.

1. Business model transformation with a membership structure

To streamline and focus, I made a pivotal decision to transition my business model to a membership structure. Consolidating various offers into a single, irresistible package simplifies the buyer journey, reduces confusion, and allows for long-term client commitment. This strategic shift resulted in a staggering $40k in just two weeks after its launch.

  • Long term offer = less need to always be selling
  • Serves clients better
  • Reduces confusion & streamlines the buyer journey

2. Changing and adapting selling strategies

Recognising the busyness of consumers, I adjusted selling strategies by emphasizing free, valuable resources. This approach allows for deeper connections, resonates with the audience, and doesn't tie me to the phone 24/7.

  • Streamline selling for scalability.
  • Long-form content fosters deep client connections.
  • Understanding consumer psychology is pivotal for actionable engagement.

3. In person community and events

Create a community to have deeper connections. Beyond the online realm, these events allowed for real-life interactions, creating a sense of extended community.

  • In-person connections contribute to long-term business growth.
  • Community strength extends beyond the business owner.
  • Initiating small, intimate gatherings can have a meaningful impact.

4. Relatable & incredible client stories on the podcast

Highlighting client success stories on the podcast not only celebrates their achievements but also resonates with the audience, potentially increasing engagement and sales.

  • Celebrate and support clients beyond contractual obligations.
  • Relatable content enhances audience connection.
  • Authentic storytelling is a powerful sales tool.

5. Strategic hiring for efficiency

Efficiency is key. Hiring a new VA strategically contributes to a lean and agile team, promoting flexibility without unnecessary bulk.

  •  Hire when needed, BUT don’t hire before you're ready
  • Hiring a VA is great because the role is based hourly – we hired full time because we had the work there but if you are just starting and don’t have the funds for full time or the workload, even just having someone to take a couple hours work each week will free your mind to be that badass CEO
  • A VA role provides flexibility for scaling.
  • Building a lean team allows for quick pivots and efficiency.

In evolving beyond 7 figures, you need a strategic mindset, adaptability, and deeper connections. Whether reassessing the business model, refining selling strategies, prioritising community, showcasing client success, or strategically hiring, remember that doing business your way is the ultimate key to success.
